What is Hootio Smart Import?

Can my photos continue into PhotoBot?
Yes. Choose PhotoBot when you start. Once Smart Import has copied the cards, PhotoBot prepares the Lightroom Classic catalog and makes the first exposure and white balance adjustments. You can also choose Standard and Smart Previews. Explore PhotoBot.
What does PhotoBot do?
PhotoBot automatically adjusts exposure and white balance, giving your photos a better starting point in Lightroom Classic. Straightening is optional, and you make the final look your own. Explore PhotoBot.
Can my video continue into VideoBot?
Yes. Choose VideoBot when you start. Smart Import brings in the cards and VideoBot continues with the footage, giving you a first edit to review and make your own. Explore VideoBot.
Can I import photos from multiple camera cards?
Yes. Connect several card readers, select your sources and start one import. If you have fewer readers than cards, import in rounds into the same shoot folders. Follow the multi-card import workflow.
How do I know the card media arrived?
Smart Import checks what it copied from every selected card and shows you which files arrived and which ones need attention. The originals stay on the cards. See Smart Import features.
